Jeff Spight, President
Jeff sets strategy, drives implementation and creates new market opportunities. He has more than 18 years of healthcare experience, serving in leadership roles at health plans such as AmeriHealth Mercy, Bravo/Healthspring, and WellCare. Prior to joining the company, Jeff served on the executive team with McKinsey & Company’s Leading Systems Network and McKinsey’s Advanced Healthcare Analytics groups, working with international health systems in the United Kingdom, Singapore and Australia. Jeff also serves on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Accountable Care Organizations. He earned an MBA from Stanford University and a BA in economics and mathematics from Colorado College.
Lorri Havlovitz, Vice President,
Lorri oversees several Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) in Wisconsin and in the southeast region of the country. An experienced healthcare executive, Lorri has held leadership positions at both payer and provider organizations. Lorri has been instrumental in the concept and development of several Medicare Shared Savings Program ACOs, giving her deep operational knowledge and understanding. An active speaker, Lorri is happy to share her experience at industry conferences where she is frequently invited to present on quality and improvement programs. Lorri earned her MBA in Healthcare Management.
Karen Holt, Vice President,
Karen oversees MSSP and Next Generation Model ACOs in the southwest region. Karen's 27 years in the healthcare industry has given her substantial experience in practice transformation, quality reporting, and risk/cost management. She formerly served as manager of business development for Gulf Coast Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation where she developed a highly successful patient engagement marketing program. Prior to joining CHS, Karen served as the director of physician network development for Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston, TX, and was a member of the strategy team that led the development of the Memorial ACO. She was directly involved in the development, engagement, and transformation of 2,500 independent physicians in Memorial’s Clinically Integrated Network, where she focused on quality reporting and utilization management.
Adrienne Opalka, Vice President,
Adrienne oversees ACOs in the eastern region, extending from Maine to Virginia. Adrienne’s 25 years in the healthcare industry has given her experience in hospital administration, managed care operations and finance. She entered the industry as a healthcare consultant at Bain & Company. Prior to joining the company, Adrienne held executive-level positions for three health plans and founded Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center’s Medicaid Managed Care plan. She earned an MBA and her undergraduate degree from Yale University.
Sarah Bell, ACO Marketing
Sarah leads marketing, focused on strategies to engage physicians and beneficiaries as value-based care models take hold. Sarah’s background is in consumer packaged goods and she was an early adopter of online digital marketing. Sarah has over 16 years of healthcare marketing experience. She has been responsible for brand development, member acquisition, and new product introductions. Sarah earned her AB degree from Princeton University.
Elena Tkachev, ACO Analytics
Elena focuses on transforming information into insight. Previously, Elena worked at McKinsey Solutions Office in Healthcare Value Analytics. Elena also held leadership positions at Horizon Healthcare Innovations, a subsidiary of Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) of New Jersey, Anthem and Milliman. Elena earned an MBA from Fordham University and a BS in actuarial science and applied mathematics from Maryville University. She was a member of the Brookings-Dartmouth ACO Learning Network from 2011 to 2013.
